Marketing job skills highlighted by CIM courses
Marketing jobs professionals will be able to benefit from training events organised by the industry body, the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM).
Marketers in the dark about click and pay advertising, online conversations and concepts such as website usability can acquire new techniques and brush up on old ones with the help of industry experts.
Courses are on throughout the week, in Dundee, Kent, Lincolnshire, Reading and London.
Next week's 'Content is King, Conversation is Queen' event held in the Bridgewood Manor Hotel, in Kent on February 17th makes the case for communications skills specific to the internet.
According to course organisers Jonnie Jensen of Tmandi and David Ing of the CFA: "You can have great content but if no one is talking about it then it's worthless. You need a Queen who is the eyes, ears and conversation to your King's content.
"To be successful today you need to be participating in both the content, creation and the conversation about the content."
'Website Usability' held on February 23rd in Reading sets out the basics of website analytics and attractive, competition-beating web design for marketers.
